The Dalai Lama Tenzin gyatso (6 July 1935) is the head of state and spiritual guru of Tibet. After the Chinese attack on Tibet in 1949, the Supreme Dalai Lama was asked to take full political power and get the seat of the Dalai Lama. In 1954, he also went to Beijing to talk to several Chinese leaders, such as Mao Zedong, Teng Geoping, about a peace agreement on China’s visit and the withdrawal of troops from Tibet. From 1959 he got lot of awards.

The Fourteenth Dalai Lama was born on April 6, 1935 in Tibet, his parents were farmers. When he was just two years old, the Buddhist research team identified him as the epitome of the Dalai Lama based on signs and dreams and placed him on the throne before he was four years old. He studied Buddhist monastery and studied Buddhist philosophy. When he was 15 years old in 1950, he was a man for his people.

The Dalai Lama had all the important powers, but he did not defeat Chinese forces. In March 1959 Chinese crushed the uprising in Tibet that led to the 14th Dalai Lama Tenzin Gyatso comes to India. In 1959, thousands of Tibetan rebels were killed in the uprising forces. The Dalai Lama has resorted to Dharamshala , a small town of Himachal Pradesh in India. That is now forbidden to be home to Tibetan exile. About 80,000 Tibetans are living their life in Dharmshala.

An appeal has been launched to protect the Tibetan people. The country has met with important religious, spiritual and political figures from abroad. He proposed a middle ground for his Tibet. In 1987, he introduced a five-point plan called “Tibet as a peace zone.””

In 1963, the Dalai Lama’s introduced a draft as democratic constitution for Tibet. Supreme Power made several improvements. However, in May 1990, the U.S. and the first two states were in the Tibetan Cabinet, which will be appointed by Dalai Lama this year; Kashag and the 10th Parliament were dissolved and new elections were held. The 11th member of the Tibetan Parliament in exile was elected on the basis of a vote by one of the Tibetans living in India and 33 countries of the world. Dharamsala’s central exiled parliament has a total of 46 members, including a speaker and a vice president.

In 1992, the Dalai Lama declared that when Tibet was founded, the first goal would be to form an interim government whose first priority would be to elect a constituent assembly to create and embrace the Democratic Assembly of Tibet. The Tibetan people will then elect his government, and the Supreme Dalai Lama will give all his political powers to the newly elected interim president. In 2001, on the advice of the Supreme Dalai Lama, the Tibetan Parliament amended the Tibetan Constitution in exile and secured direct elections for tibet’s executive. The Executive Director-elect appoints his government colleagues and, with his appointment, takes the consent of parliament. The first directly elected Executive Director took office in September 2001.

Dalai Lama and his exile, came to India and drew attention to atrocities in Tibet around the world. He moved to Dharmshala, also known as “Little Lhasa,”, where 80,000 Tibetan refugees living in India at the time.  The Dalai Lama, while in India, began appealing for the help from the Union Nations Organisation, and the United Nations also accepted his proposal. The proposals discussed Tibetan self-esteem and implement human rights in Tibet. At a meeting held in the United States in 1987, the U.S. National Security Council of Anderha (IOM) said that it was “very much affected due to the conflict with China . In 1991, the Dalai Lama declared his willingness to return to Tibet to reach an agreement between China and Tibet, but people prevented him from leaving.

Addressing members of the U.S. Congress in Washington, DC on March 21, 2015, The New York Times reported that the whole of Tibet must be transformed into a peace zone.

China should abandon the policy of population transfer, which threatens the existence of the Tibetan people.

The fundamental human rights and democratic freedom of the Tibetan people must be respected.

Tibet’s natural environment must be preserved and revived, and China’s policy of using Tibet as a place for the production of nuclear weapons and the disposal of nuclear waste is limited.

Serious discussions about the future situation in Tibet and the relationship between Tibet and the Chinese people should begin.
